Carbon Descent’s highly experienced consulting team can provide a range of carbon modelling and carbon accounting services. We are able to develop carbon models and GHGs emissions forecasts in order to aid local authorities, government and business to understand future positions in different carbon scenarios. We have provided consulting services to the majority of English and Welsh local authorities, provided expertise to national panels and provided expert advice on UK energy and environmental policy to foreign governments.

We are able to develop models and provide consulting expertise that translates specific sets of policies or local action plans into carbon saving measures in the Domestic, C&I and Transport sectors. We also have significant expertise in behavioural change consulting services; we have the knowledge to help domestic and non-domestic energy consumers reduce their carbon footprint by improving their attitude towards energy consumption. Finally our consulting team also has the know-how to assist local authorities develop their own carbon offset scheme and set an economically viable carbon price.
